White Christmas 2010!!

For the first time in many years we had a white Christmas!! I have no seen a white Christmas in Paducah in a very long time. I couldn't even tell you when the last time I saw one was. Today is Tuesday and we still ave snow on the ground and roof tops but fortuneatly the roads have been clear making travel good. I don't forsee the snow parting any time soon. When I got in my car to come to work this morning it was 17 degrees. Here are the pictures.

Texas day 1

Yesterday afternoon Chris and I arrived in Texas and were welcomely greeted by Brent, Angie, Ashlan, Jim, and Carolyn Morgan. We stayed at the lake house which is beautiful and enjoyed a boat ride, sat on the deck, enjoyed a glass of wine, and some of my father-in-laws great smoking talants of brisket and pork. Then as a family watched Elf, which Ashlan just informed me was her favorite movie. Good day!

WWII B-17 Bommer!!

Yesterday evening, Chris and I went to Midwest Aviation to tour a very rare plane!! The B-17 Bommer that was used during WWII. This plane is one of 12, B-17's left in the world. It is also one of only 4-6 still working. They were doing flights if you paid for them but were VERY expensive.  We did get to see it land, and every flight it took passed right over our house and work, so we saw it many times in the air.
