Day 2

A picture of the person that I have been the closest to the longest!

Chelsea.......She is my best friend. I talk to her almost every day and she knows my deepest secrets!! I am so blessed to have a friend like her. She has always been there to talk to no matter what is going on. She is the type of friend I can go months with out talking to and then pick up the phone and never miss a beat. When we met there was an instant friendship that has never been able to be seperated no matter what life throws our way. To my best friend....I love you and I don't know where I would be without you to share my memories with. No matter the distance between us you will always be a phone call away!!

God gave me one of the best gifts ever.....YOU!!!

10 Facts About Me:

1. I am a very extraverted person.
2. I am focusing on my inner strengths this year and working to be healthier and a better person for my friends and family.
3. I am a newly wed.
4. My best friend lives an hour away.
5. I am taking 18 credit hours at school. I want to be come a Special Ed teacher.
6. I  LOVE Honeynut Cherrios.
7. I spend almost all of my free time doing fun things with my husband. We enjoy doing nothing sometimes.
8. I have met some wonderful people in my life and will continue to over the next many years!! God has been very good to me!
9. I talk to my best friend, Chelsea almost everyday!! (I don't know what I would do with out you)
10. I have a 7 month old Chocolate lab at home named Bentley.

The Dash, the inspirational poem by Linda Ellis - captures not the date you were born, or the date you die—but the importance of The Dash between those years. It's what you do with your Dash to make a difference with your life.

 

This was one of my homework assignments and it really got me thinking. Right now my life is packed full of different things, family, work, school, homework....at this moment I feel I am making the most out of my DASH. I am taking small steps to complete my large goal and hopefully impacting lives along the way. I hope that when I am gone there are good things to be remembered. What about you?

Homework, Homework, Homework......

As many of you know it is very hard to work and attend school. This is my first sememster ever to take on 18 credit hours (which is all that is allowed for any student). I am having to double up on classes to be able to get in to the Special Education program at Murray State University this fall. This is the first week of class and I already feel the pressure. I can totally sympathize with the kid below!! I am taking 4 online classes, a night class, and one afternoon class two afternnons a week. I am thankful that my boss if flexiable and lets me go when I need to.
