Chris' grandpa, Carroll Walker, had reached what he thought was his last day of work....He infomed me that at about 10:00 that morning they asked him if he could come in to work today for a little while ;-) Here are some pictures from the great milestone!!
Presenting Carroll with a picture that will be hung in the new courthouse, when it is finished.

Christmas with the Boatwrights!! (My family)

On Christmas day every year, Chris and I wake up SUPER early!! We have our own little Christmas and exchange gifts followed by being at his mom's house by 7:30 (This year we set an exact time of 7:16, hehe Kelly) and then rush home to get ready and be at my Aunt Coco and Uncle Mike's by 9:30 for brunch, then are back across town by 12:00 to have lunch at, usually Phyllis' house (Kelly's mom), But this year at Chris' Uncle Phillip's house. Followed by a full day of food, family, and games. I did not bring my camera out at Phillips or Phyllis' this year for some strange reason so I will have to make sure and get pictures from other family memebers.I was too busy enjoying everyone that I just wasn't thinking. Here are a few pictures from my family gathering!!

When I got in my car to come to work this morning it was 17 degrees. Here are the pictures.

Today has been good. This mornig we woke up to a sunrise ands waffles and sausage. Packed up and headed to Murphy and stopped at BassPro, Chris' playground. Now we are hanging out and Nick and Kate just arrived a little bit ago ad it is wild! :-) I love visiting!!

Texas day 1

Yesterday afternoon Chris and I arrived in Texas and were welcomely greeted by Brent, Angie, Ashlan, Jim, and Carolyn Morgan. We stayed at the lake house which is beautiful and enjoyed a boat ride, sat on the deck, enjoyed a glass of wine, and some of my father-in-laws great smoking talants of brisket and pork. Then as a family watched Elf, which Ashlan just informed me was her favorite movie. Good day!
