As many of you know, I have a SWEET tooth. Sugars are my worst enemy. I have a craving for something sweet, almost every day! This is the worst thing for you and your diet, but I can't help but indulge. You know you were thinking it too!!
A picture of the person you do the most things with.
These are my two loves!! I do everything with Chris. We are inseperable outside of work. We enjoying hanging out at home and talking. We spend a lot of time cuddled up watching tv and we make decisions together. We love cooking and playing with Bentley. She has brought us so much joy!
No matter what has happened in my life, no matter what good or bad decisions I have made, she has always been there to love me unconditionally and provide the guidance that I needed. A grandmothers love is one that words cannot express. I owe everything to her!! I love you Mema!
Last night I was flipping through a new food magazine and I took the three main ingredents and added my own touch and made a great dish last night Chris and I realy liked. I thought I would try it.
Organo, parsley, and minced garlic to taste.
We topped our bowls with shreaded montery jack cheese.
I boiled the noodles in one pan until tender. While that was boiling you can either grill or cook the sausages in a pan (chose to cook them in a pan do to cold snowy weather), I added a small amount of olive oil to keep it from sticking. Once the sausages were done I cut them into 1/2-inch bites and put them back in the pan to cook a little bit longer. I added the sauce and herbs and let it cook and get hot. Then I drained the noodles and combined them to the mix, I cooked a little longer to get everything heated through and through. This is super easy and so YUMMY!! I told Chris that next time I would try to use a medium heated sausage since he likes spicy things.
The story behind this is quite comical. One day I was over at Casey's house to hang out and she had some chores she had to do for her mom. One of the chores was to mop the kitchen.....So we poured Dawn dish soap all over the floor and then about a gallon of water and took off our shoes and went to town sliding all over the floor...... in this particular picture Casey said lets pretend like we are falling.....Turns out....we really fell. This is what the auto picture captured!! Some of my best memories!! Casey, I had so much fun and we need to do this again!!!
This week has been WILD!!!! Western Kentucky has recieved an unusal amount of snow this year and record breaking tempuratures!! This morning it was -4!!!!!!! Yeah, that's what I said. On Monday this week we recieved 9 inches of snow. It never broke 29 degrees. Tuesday we did not get any snow but it never warmed up enough to melt the snow away. The road melted off, only to freeze overnight and become a solid sheet of ice. Wednesday we recieved another 4 inches of snow....on top of Monday's snow and Tuesday's Ice....Today I took a couple of pictures of the aftermath!! Enjoy.
This was Lone Oak Road, yesterday afternoon.
My neighborhood this morning, on my way to work.
Another shot from my neighborhood.
Jack Frost came to visit!
This is what the "good" roads looked like!
This is what people want the snow to do! I don't mind it.
This has become my best friend lately!!!
Our record breaking temperature.
Thankfully today the sun is out and shinning bright!!
Though I may not always be the best Christian I can be, my bible is my most treasured item. At any point in my life, if I need guidance I will always have a handbook to life. I turn to my bible when I rejoice in happiness, when I am frustrated and need help coping, or when I need to learn about the ways of the world. No matter what life throws my way, I know I have Jesus just a prayer away. One thing that I love about this Bible is that there are stories and thought questions in it to help guide your learning. I keep my bible in my night stand next to my bed.
A picture of a person that I would love to trade places with for a day.
That's right......Paula Deen!
I would love to trade places with Paula Deen for a day! I think it would be awesome to get to cook/bake and entertain all day everyday and get paid for it!! Plus I get to have a sweet southeren charm and accent!!
My favorite memeory is my wedding day!!! This is one of the happiest days of my LIFE. On June 12, 2010 I married my best friend and life partner. I am so thankful God brought us together!!!!!!!! We spend so much time together...sometimes doing nothing. I am able to tell him anything that is on my mind. I am able to talk to him when things are not going right. We are able to accomplish anything life throws our way as long as we have each other. On this day, I took my vows and made a life-long promise to him that I would always be faithful and stand by his side, I will always put him second in my life after my relationship with God, and I will always do my best to do my part in providing for my family. I could not have asked for a better person to spend my life with. Thank you Lord.
This morning we woke up to about 3 inches of snow....That was at 7 a.m. At. 8'o clock I attempted to go to the office. I almost ended up in 3 ditches and ended up completely sideways blocking both lanes of traffic this morning. I decided that it was not worth risking my life for so I turned around and headed back to the house. A drive that should have only took me 5-7 minutes typically took me almost 35. 4-wheel drive did nothing for me this morning!! It was aweful. I never boke 15 miles an hour. Here are some pictures from around during the snow. By the time it had finally stopped snowing we have 9 inches of snow here in Paducah.....
By the time it stopped snowing, the snow came to the top of my boots.....In some places it was deeper!!
She ended up coming inside to warm up and play!
Bentley with her new rope that Mel bought her!! She loves it...
She was super tired after playing in the snow!! It was nap time.
This was taken after the snow started to slow down and stop and
the roads were starting to clear up a little bit.
It was beautiful if you did not have get out in it. This morning there were at least 10 wrecks on the radio within an hour and the school had a hard time getting high school students back home. Some didn't make it home till after 12 (and that was after being released at 8:30).
I am thankful that I was able to make it home safely.
This is one of my fondest memories....Christopher tooke me to my first and only senior prom....I had never been to prom before and Christopher made this night so special for me!! I could never ask for a better date!! I love you honey!!
A picture of the person that I have been the closest to the longest!
Chelsea.......She is my best friend. I talk to her almost every day and she knows my deepest secrets!! I am so blessed to have a friend like her. She has always been there to talk to no matter what is going on. She is the type of friend I can go months with out talking to and then pick up the phone and never miss a beat. When we met there was an instant friendship that has never been able to be seperated no matter what life throws our way. To my best friend....I love you and I don't know where I would be without you to share my memories with. No matter the distance between us you will always be a phone call away!!
